Meetings

The Agusta Bird Club holds monthly meetings from September through May, and guests are always welcome to join us!

SCHEDULE:  Second Monday of each month.
TIME:  7:00 pm – Business Meeting and Program.
LOCATION:  Covenant Presbyterian Church, 2001 North Coalter Street, Staunton, VA.

Meetings begin with various business items of discussion such as recent bird sightings, news items or announcements, field trip reports or announcements, and committee updates.

Most meetings include a featured Program (usually live, sometimes virtual) by an expert in areas such as birds and birding, local wildlife or plants, photography, conservation, citizen science, member birding trips, etc.

Our May meeting is in the form of an outdoor picnic social on a Saturday morning at a local park that includes food, drinks and a short bird walk. In December we have a Holiday party at our regular meeting time/place with festive food, drinks, and a fun raffle.
